About the artist
Hello! My name is Jamie. I’m in my early thirties (at the time of writing this) and I’m tall enough to reach items on the top shelves.
I have a large tabby cat called Reggie that sleeps on my bed as I work. He sometimes snores so loudly that he wakes himself up.
Pretty much all my life I’ve been interested in art, whether through anime, comics, films drawing in any spare moment I got. When I left university I worked as a team leader for a small design company, but decided to branch into freelancing, which I have now been doing for over 7 years.
I am a massive geek, spending a lot of time playing Dungeons and Dragons, video games and board games of all kinds, watching films, cartoons, reading, and all of this comes through in my work. I love to be creative, and I always try to approach projects from varying angles, and I have skills in photography, graphic design, and digital illustration to bring those ideas to life.
In my time freelancing I am lucky to have worked with a massive range of clients and client types, from designing all kinds of print media, to online banner work and campaigns, to full fantasy inspired teams and battle scenes.
